In the beginning of April, the Regional State Administrative Agency (AVI) ordered all the indoor sports and recreational spaces to be closed until 14.4.2021 in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The shutdown has unfortunately been extended, which means that Helsingin Wushu will not organise training for adults before 28.4.
During this time, we will however continue our kids’ wushu as planned. This means that we will organise the classes normally on Saturdays 17.4. and 24.4. We still continue paying special attention to good hand hygiene, safety distances and other precautionary measures, and will only come to the classes when we’re healthy.
Our coaches will be wearing masks, and everyone else should wear a mask too when moving around in the Cable Factory building. We also kindly ask you to only quickly bring and pick up the children to and from the training to avoid big crowds in the hallway, the 2-meter safety distance should be kept at all times. We will also keep our classes a bit shorter than usual to make sure there’s enough time between the groups and to ventilate the room.
We will still continue following the orders given by AVI, but we hope that we would be able to continue training normally before May Day. As soon as we will get new information, we will inform you here on our website as well as on our Facebook channel.
Hang in there everyone, we hope to see you again at the gym soon!
